About me

I have the most experience teaching English, History, Geography, and Croatian, particularly literature. I enjoy taking an individualized approach with each student, and I especially love hearing what they find interesting about a particular subject. When students express an interest in certain topics, I focus on that first, and from there, we build a plan to spark interest in the rest of the material. Some students require memorization, while others need to understand the cause and effect, asking, "Why is it like this?" for every concept. Some learn better visually, while others retain more by listening and writing things down. It’s all about finding the right approach for your child!
